client: owned brands
brief: Owned Brands, a DreamWorks Trolls licensee, asked me to create the package design for their line of cookies for the franchise, including naming the product. The characters, especially Poppy & Branch, were to be front & center showcasing their vibrant personalities. They wanted a design that’s as joyful and eye-catching as the characters themselves.
solution: A designer can’t go wrong when tasked with working in sprinkles, glitter & rainbows into a design! Throw in some colorfully big-haired animated characters & you have a winner. My main goal was to make sure to retain the energy and enthusiasm always since in the movie on the packaging.
