client: owned brands

brief: Owned Brands, part of Trusted Influence, acquired the franchise license for food products for Illumination’s Minions. They asked me to create a bold, fun & totally ‘MINIONS’ cookie packaging design, as well as, conceiving the name for the cookies. They wanted a design that would stand out in the crowded Walmart & supermarket cookie/snack aisle. Challenge accepted!

solution: To tap into Minions’ fame, their iconic yellow became the backdrop for the design. Once the name was approved, I brought the “blast” to life with playful characters, dynamic interactions & a shower of blue and yellow sprinkles. The coolest challenge? Designing & creating realistic 3D cookies for a product that didn’t even exist yet!
